MYSTICAL REFLECTIONS-Abstract Landscape

 I paint with a poetic mindset, as though on a pilgrimage, looking for content. I cherish the surprises the journey offers and welcome the challenges.

This attitude is like Gloria Steinem's in her book, My Life on the Road, in which she describes traveling the world with an open, receptive mind. She gives examples of how, when we are open, observing and listening, we can learn about the stories and the specific lives of individuals, rather than believing our preconceived, generalizations about people.
